newsletter 2007 #09

So, we've finally completed the renovations, we hope you like the changes. We've kept the most popular items, but as you'll see, we now have lots of new things in-store for Christmas.

Because we have so much new stuff, the Gallery room has been transformed into additional shopping space for the festive months. Make sure you check out this space for all our printed tshirts, sweatshirts, bags and wallpapers. Regular exhibitions in this area will resume in February 2008.

The much loved 'cat print' is now available on scarves, coats (left) and a limited edition version of the Noreen dress.

More tshirts, sweatshirts and cardigans have arrived with a range of prints to suit everyone from the quiet character to the very very loud.

New in-store...MINE

Mine is a collection of wearable whims created by illustrator turned fashion designer, Katherine Pont. From the paper doll to the hanger, each collection is composed with a story in mind which unfolds as the collection takes shape. It is this fairytale sense of creation coupled with Katherine’s hand drawn embroidery that are the tell tale signs of the Mine signature style.

The current collection in-store, entitled 'A damsel in this dress' includes 'TomTom' boat-neck tops, 'Row your Boat' shorts and 'Pirate Song' dresses (left).

New in-store...'JEEVES & WOOSTER' PENDANT LIGHTS

The Jeeves & Wooster series are a playful take on lighting with a real sense of cultural identity. The bowler and top hat are classic British cultural icons reflecting a bygone era of imperialism, class divide, and eccentricity.

As designer Jake Phipps explains "The Pendant lights are suitable for any aspiring gentleman or conscientious manservant in which class and sophistication are the essential components to illumination."

The Jeeves’s bowler hat is lined with a refined gold interior, whilst Wooster’s top hat has a distinguished silver lining. Both exude that quintessential British flair of regimented style and eccentricity.
